Boosting NVMe Speed for The Mageseeker
Waiting 8-10 seconds for maps in The Mageseeker was frustrating, with my YMTC Zhitai TiPro9000 hitting I/O bottlenecks. I tried clearing the cache, but it failed because background processes used 2.1-2.5GB of memory. I then used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to switch the I/O scheduler to deadline and increased queue depth to 2048. Per GamePP Benchmark Verification, frame generation intervals converged from 15-22ms to 9-12ms. The SSD temperature remained stable at 42-46℃, and the I/O scheduling was verified successfully.
