Fixing memory crashes in The Last of Us on X870-A?

Every time I loaded a new area, the game would just vanish to the desktop without a word, which was incredibly frustrating. Event Viewer pointed straight to a memory access violation, usually a sign that XMP is being too aggressive. I tried disabling XMP, but my 1% lows tanked from 60 to 42 FPS, which was a performance hit I couldn't accept. I went into the BIOS and nudged the memory voltage from 1.35V to 1.38V and loosened the tRFC timing from 480 to 520. Monitoring showed memory latency stabilizing between 68-70ns, and I managed to play for 5 hours straight without a single crash. I actually tried 1.40V at first, but the RAM hit 62℃, so I had to add a dedicated RAM cooler to bring it back down. CPU temps are at 65-72℃ and VRMs are at 58-64℃. Ran 4 passes of MemTest86 with zero errors, and RAM temps are now a cool 55-60℃.
