Fixing VRAM read latency on Vastarmor Radeon RX 9070 XT?
Walking through those creepy corridors in the village, I noticed these slight micro-stutters every time a new event triggered. It was subtle but incredibly distracting. The Vastarmor RX 9070 XT Alloy was hitting a wall once VRAM occupancy reached 85%, with random read latency swinging between 65-82ms, meaning assets couldn't load fast enough for the renderer. I tried some third-party memory cleaners first, but that just added more system overhead—a total waste of time. I eventually updated to the latest official AMD drivers and ran a manual VRAM cache flush. In benchmark tests, random read performance climbed from 38MB/s back up to 52-58MB/s, and that heavy feeling during scene transitions vanished.
