Stop RDR2 Loading Screen Freezes
During fast travel, the loading bar would often freeze at 90% for several seconds, which was incredibly annoying. I tried updating the storage controller drivers in Device Manager, but loading actually slowed down by 2 seconds, leaving me feeling defeated. I used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth panel to increase the depth from 128 to 256 and switched to the High Performance power plan. CrystalDiskMark verified random 4K reads increased from 55-62 to 78-85 MB/s, with SSD temps at 45-52℃ per AIDA64.
