Why is Crucial DDR4 8GB causing tearing in Rainbow Six Siege?
In the middle of a gunfight, I'd get these horizontal tears across the screen, which is a death sentence in a tactical shooter. The bandwidth on this Crucial DDR4 2666MHz 8GB just can't keep up with high refresh rates, with frame times swinging wildly from 7ms to 22ms. I tried turning on V-Sync to kill the tearing, but it added about 30ms of input lag, making the mouse feel like it was moving through mud.
