Reducing Disk Read Latency
While building a house, CrystalDiskMark showed G3 read latency climb from 60ms to 150-200ms, leading to obvious frame drops. I tried setting the disk to 'High Performance' in Windows, but speeds only improved by 5%, which was barely noticeable. I used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Config to increase depth from 32 to 128. RTSS showed frame times converged to 15-22ms, and HWiNFO confirmed temps at 40-48℃.
