Fixing V360 LOKI cooling issues in Once Human?
While building a massive base, my frames would slowly slide from 120 down to 70, which is super distracting in a survival game. The Valkyrie V360 LOKI pump in 'Auto' mode was fluctuating too much, causing CPU temps to jump between 65-85℃ and triggering constant frequency adjustments. I tried lowering the graphics settings first, which gained me about 10 FPS, but the temps stayed high—I was hesitant to just compromise on visuals. I went into the BIOS cooling section and forced the pump to 100% full speed, then synced the radiator fans to a more aggressive curve. HWMonitor showed temps stabilizing at 62-68℃, and frame times tightened from 8-15ms to a steady 7-9ms. The pump had a slight high-pitched whine at first, but adjusting the fans to 1200 RPM masked the noise. CPU power is holding at 110W. Long-term stress tests show no temp rebound, and RAM is stable at 58-63℃.
