How to fix screen hitches when building in Fortnite?

While rapidly building defenses, the screen occasionally hitches as if it's been snapped, which is incredibly annoying. I initially tried changing the disk mode to 'High Performance' in BIOS, but this only increased idle power consumption, making me very cautious. I then used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to increase the queue limit from 1024 to 2048 and enabled the forced write cache flush policy. Random 4K reads improved from 65 to 90 MB/s per CrystalDiskMark and temps stayed at 40-50℃ per AIDA64.
