Solving Corsair Vengeance LPX issues in Final Fantasy 7?
While exploring the open world, I kept noticing these tiny, split-second pauses. They aren't constant, but they absolutely kill the immersion. Monitoring the background, I saw the Corsair Vengeance LPX's auto-frequency scaling was jittering between 3133-3200MHz during load shifts, creating 5-10ms anomalies in frame delivery. I tried updating the motherboard BIOS first, but that did absolutely nothing—just a cautious attempt that failed. I went back in and hard-locked the frequency at 3200MHz and manually dropped the tRCD from 18 to 16. The jagged spikes in the RivaTuner graph completely flattened out, and frame intervals stabilized at 11-14ms. I did run into a brief memory training delay on the first few boots after the lock, but adding a tiny bit of voltage (1.36V) cleared that right up. Temps are a cool 40-46℃. A one-hour 3DMark stress test passed with zero crashes, and the frame generation is finally consistent at 11-14ms.
