Fixing GPU Frequency Drops
Walking through bustling towns, the screen would twitch every few seconds—a truly torturous experience. I tried limiting the max frame rate in the driver panel; the temperature dropped, but the input lag increased per RivaTuner, making me very cautious about further changes. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to force fan speed from 0 to 85% above 70℃ and optimized GPU power management. RivaTuner showed frame times converged to 16-20ms, and HWMonitor confirmed GPU temperatures at 68-74℃.
