Fixing VRAM instability on Gainward RTX 5080 Storm OC?

During fast flicks, I could feel this subtle but constant jitter in the image, which is absolutely lethal in a competitive shooter. Monitoring the backend revealed that the Gainward RTX 5080 Storm OC VRAM clock was jumping between 21000MHz and 22000MHz, causing frame times to oscillate between 2ms and 8ms. I cautiously tried the 'Prefer Maximum Performance' setting in the NVIDIA Control Panel, but while the peak FPS went up, the tearing persisted—it was a compromise that didn't solve the root cause. I then used a tuning tool to force the VRAM clock to a steady 21500MHz and optimized my CPU thread priorities. In LatencyMon, the DPC latency was crushed below 0.4ms, and the tearing completely disappeared. I actually pushed the voltage too far during the lock and hit 95℃ on the VRAM, which was terrifying, until I reverted to default voltage. GPU temps are now 58-65℃ and VRAM is 82-88℃. The response time is finally back to normal.
