Fixing frame sync on Gigabyte RTX 5060 in Atomic Heart?
While sprinting through the facilities, I kept seeing these horizontal slice lines across the screen, which was super obvious at a 144Hz refresh rate. The Gigabyte RTX 5060 was holding a steady 2520MHz, but the frame times were swinging wildly between 6,2-14,8ms, meaning the monitor couldn't keep up. I tried turning on V-Sync in-game, but that spiked my input lag to 42ms, making the controls feel like they were underwater—definitely not the way to go. I went into the NVIDIA Control Panel, enabled G-Sync Compatible mode, and capped the global frame rate at 141 FPS. RTSS show
