I tried capping the maximum frame rate to reduce heat, but while temps dropped 5℃, the minimum FPS actually fell further, which was a pointless effort. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration to aggressively move the threshold, forcing 100% fan speed starting at 55℃. Frame times converged to 12-22ms per RTSS, and CPU temperatures stabilized at 82-88℃ per AIDA64.
