How do I stop my fans from screaming in World War Z?

The fan noise was breaking immersion badly. I tried Balanced power plan, but FPS dropped to 85. I used GamePP Fan Curve Panel to set PWM threshold to 70℃. HWiNFO64 showed noise dropping from 45dB to 38dB. Temps stayed at 75-80℃. This backup of settings works great.
