Solving Valdrakken Heat Spikes
While idling in Valdrakken, my fans sounded like a helicopter and FPS plummeted from 100 to 30 due to thermal throttling. I tried setting fans to full speed in the BIOS, but the noise was unbearable and temps still hovered around 85℃, which was infuriating. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to change the 60-80℃ range to a stepped gradient. HWiNFO confirmed core temps stabilized at 72-78℃, and SpeedFan showed speeds at 1400-1600RPM.
