Why does Tales of Justice Academy freeze during parry attacks?

During intense martial arts duels, the screen suddenly froze for 0.3s, which is a total disaster when trying to time a parry. I first tried maxing out fan speeds to 100%, but the noise was deafening and core temps still hit 90℃ per AIDA64. I used the GamePP BIOS Load-Line Voltage Adjustment Wizard to switch to L3 mode and lowered Vcore by 0.04V. Peak temperature dropped to 84-88℃ per HWInfo, and fans stayed at 1400-1600RPM
