Fixing Where Winds Meet Lag
Walking through the ancient capital, the roof textures appeared slowly like a puzzle, which completely ruined the immersion. I tried increasing virtual memory to 32GB, but it didn't help loading speeds and just stressed my SSD, which left me feeling very dissatisfied. I used the GamePP Memory Controller Load Monitor to diagnose the latency and adjusted BIOS timings to 30-34-34-76 with 1.42V per HWInfo. After relaxing tRAS to 78, MemTest86 confirmed stability, and read speeds reached 62-68 GB/s per GamePP with fans at 1500-1800RPM.
