How to fix memory crashes on ASUS TUF B760M in Where Winds Meet?
Honestly, it's a joke that a board called the 'Artillery' can't even handle 3600MHz RAM without throwing a fit. My ASUS TUF GAMING B760M-PLUS was struggling with the memory controller voltage, which was wobbling around 1.1V, leading to straight-up Blue Screens when loading high-res assets in the open world. I tried disabling XMP in the BIOS, but that dropped my RAM to 2133MHz and doubled the loading times—a complete disaster. I finally manually bumped the SOC voltage from Auto to 1.25V and loosened the timings from 18-22-22-42 to 18-24-24-46. After four straight passes of MemTest86, the error count finally dropped from 12 to zero, and the game stopped crashing. I did try pushing 1.3V at one point, but the VRM temps hit a scary 92℃, so I had to rig up a small fan to blow directly on the board to get it down to 75℃. CPU temps are now 60-65℃. I've backed up the BIOS profile, but the VRM heat is still a concern.
