Reducing Memory Latency
During high-mobility combat, the screen exhibits micro-tearing and frame drops, making the mech feel sluggish. I tried lowering shadow quality, which only gained 5 FPS but didn't stop the fluctuations; this superficial fix was unacceptable. I used the GamePP Memory Controller Load Monitor to identify the latency and tightened timings to 16-18-18-36 in BIOS. MemTest86 confirmed stability over four passes, memory voltage stayed at 1.34-1.36V per HWMonitor, and read speeds hit 28-33 GB/s per AIDA64.
