How to stop random crashes on Maxsun MS-eSport B850ITX WIFI ICE?
It was unbelievable—this ITX board would just crash without warning the moment thousands of Tyranids filled the screen. The crash logs pointed to the CPU C-State power saving mode; the rapid voltage switching was causing momentary drops from 1.1V to below 0.8V. I wasted money on a higher-wattage PSU first, but the crashes didn't stop, which was incredibly frustrating. I finally went into the BIOS, disabled Global C-state Control entirely, and added a +0.05V offset to the CPU core. Running AIDA64 FPU stress tests, the voltage stayed rock solid at 1.15V - 1.18V for 4 hours straight without a single crash. The downside is that idle power draw jumped from 25W to 48W, so I had to tweak my fan curves again to handle the extra heat. VRM temps now sit at 72℃ - 81℃. I exported the BIOS profile because manually entering these voltage offsets is a nightmare. Memory temps are holding at 58℃ - 63℃.
