Stop RE9 Texture Disappearing
While exploring the castle, walls would suddenly vanish and the game would crash to desktop, which was absolutely infuriating. I first tried adding more physical RAM, but discovered the bottleneck was synchronization latency between RAM and VRAM, wasting my time. I used the GamePP Memory Controller Load Monitor to lock the page file to a 32GB NVMe partition. A 4-hour test confirmed 0 crashes, while AIDA64 showed 95-99% controller load and CPU temps at 70-75℃.
