Solving VRM Overheating
Every time I unleashed a flashy combo, the frame rate would drop from 60 to 35, which is fatal in an action game. I initially tried enabling power-saving mode in Windows, but it didn't lower the temp and actually dropped my minimum FPS to 20, which made me furious. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to ramp chassis fans to 2000 RPM at 70℃ to force air over the VRMs. RTSS showed frequency fluctuations dropped from 800MHz to under 200MHz, and AIDA64 confirmed VRM temps at 85-90℃.
