Why is my Nioh 2 GPU overheating in combat?

Combat in Nioh 2 pushed my Manli Star Interstellar GeForce RTX 5070 Ti OC 16GB above 85°C, causing throttling and dropping FPS to 48. I lowered texture quality, which helped FPS but ruined the visual details, leaving me frustrated with the compromise. I used GamePP Fan Curve Config to raise the GPU fan from 60% to 80% and enabled smart control. GamePP Hardware Sensor confirmed GPU temp dropped to 75°C and frame time stabilized at 8-10ms. This backup of settings works.
