Solving GPU Thermal Spikes
Facing Elder Dragons, the GPU load would spike and the screen would stutter, which is lethal when you need to dodge perfectly. I tried enabling 'Ultimate Performance' mode in Windows, but it just added 10W of power draw and made the GPU even hotter per AIDA64, which was infuriating. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to steepen the slope above 75℃ from 1400 to 2200 RPM and set a 3-second hysteresis. RTSS showed frame times converged to 14-16ms, and HWMonitor confirmed GPU temperatures stabilized at 68-75℃.
