Fixing Combat Frame Jumps
Fighting giant monsters with all effects on was maddening; the frame rate jumped wildly, which made timing my attacks impossible. I tried enabling power-saving mode in the BIOS to reduce heat, but FPS dropped from 80 to 60, which was a frustratingly inefficient trade-off. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration to bind fan speed to core temperature, triggering 2200 RPM at 70℃. RTSS showed frame times dropped to 11-18ms, HWiNFO confirmed stable temps at 72-78℃, and AIDA64 tracked the previous fluctuations at 85-92℃. Pure bliss.
