Stabilizing VR Frame Generation
I was sick of the vertigo; in VR, just turning my head caused the frame rate to jump wildly between 72 and 58 fps. I tried the Windows High Performance mode, but CPU temps hit 88℃ and the fans sounded like a helicopter, yet the stuttering remained. I used the GamePP Power Plan Switcher for a low-latency preset and tuned the PBO offset to -0.05V. RTSS showed frame intervals converged to 13-15ms, while CPU temperatures stabilized at 62-71℃ and frequency fluctuations were smoothed per GamePP Hardware Sensor.
