How to stop Thermalright PA120 SE from throttling in Metaphor: ReFantazio?
The way my frame rate tanked in large battles was honestly pathetic. Even at medium loads, my FPS was bouncing between 120 and 60, and the GamePP sensor page showed CPU temps swinging from 88-96℃, triggering immediate clock drops. I tried setting the BIOS fans to 'Full Speed', but it sounded like a jet engine and the temps still hovered at the limit—a complete waste of time. I then went into the GamePP Fan Curve Config Panel and defined a linear growth segment for the 75-85℃ range, locking the max speed at 1500 RPM. AIDA64 showed core temps finally settling into a comfortable 72-78℃, and the FPS swings stopped.
