Mass Effect Storage and Memory Optimization
Complaining about the 15-second loads in Mass Effect was becoming a habit. The Galax H410M Shadow memory timings seemed too loose. I first tried manually setting timings to 16-16-16-36, which resulted in a BSOD. I then used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to increase the queue from 128 to 256. I also used the GamePP BIOS Load Line Voltage Adjustment Wizard to tighten timings to 18-20-20-38. CrystalDiskMark confirmed the storage speed improvement. The memory controller load stabilized at 70%-75% per GamePP monitoring. The loading time dropped to 9 seconds. The system is stable now, and I backed up the configuration to ensure I never lose these settings again.
