Fixing Memory Usage Spikes
Fast zooming in my town caused sudden micro-stutters, which is a disaster for a city-builder simulation. I tried manually setting the virtual memory to 16GB in System Settings, but this worsened disk I/O conflicts and increased stuttering frequency. I used the GamePP Resource Scheduler to switch to dynamic virtual memory allocation and whitelisted essential drivers. GamePP Memory Stress Test confirmed a 30% reduction in page swapping, with memory temperature at 38-42℃ per HWiNFO64 and board temps at 48-54℃ per AIDA64.
