Managing IMC Thermals
I have top-tier G.Skill 6800MHz RAM, yet I experienced severe frame drops after walking a few steps in Kyoto; the waste of performance was infuriating. I tried increasing case fan speeds to 2000 RPM, but it sounded like a helicopter and only dropped temps by 3℃. I used GamePP BIOS Load-Line Voltage Adjustment Wizard to downclock to 6400MHz and lower SOC voltage to 1.2V. FPS stabilized at 110-120 per RTSS, IMC temps dropped from 88-94℃ per HWiNFO, and memory stayed 52-57℃ per HWiNFO.
