GTA V FiveM I/O Optimization
Driving through Los Santos with high-res FiveM mods was maddening because of these unpredictable micro-stutters. I tried enabling write cache flushing in Windows, but it didn't help and actually caused a crash with data loss, which was infuriating. I used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configurator to increase the depth to 256 and optimized the driver priority. Now, frame time has dropped to 12-20ms per RTSS, and random read speed improved by 12% per CrystalDiskMark, with temps at 52-58℃ per HWiNFO.
