Running Final Fantasy VII Rebirth the PBO optimization on my Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE ARGB showed a clear frequency bottleneck with cache recovery under pressure I first tried conservative BIOS settings but results were just average. Entered BIOS advanced CPU settings turned on PBO mode cranked limit frequency to 5.1 to 5.3GHz kept voltage under 1.3 to 1.4V and temperature curves smoothed out nicely. Stress test ran 20 to 40 minutes long term results stayed reliable overclock gains mostly held. Backup config saved everything even after reset it restores fast. Initial voltage swings worried me about stability but after BIOS frequency adjustment and backup the overclock results stayed solid. Even with that tweaking there are still limitations where frequency can dip slightly under extreme loads Final Fantasy VII Rebirth runs full throttle now without major throttling.
