Stopping VRM Overheating
It's so annoying using a new-gen board only to have the frame rate tank from 100 to 55 in complex scenes. I tried opening the chassis side panel, which dropped temps by 5℃, but the drops still occurred after 30 minutes, which was a joke. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configurator to link CPU and system fans to 100% at 70℃ and set LLV to L2 mode in BIOS. AIDA64 and HWiNFO stress tests showed VRM temps suppressed to 80-86℃, with VRM voltage finally stabilizing at 1.15-1.28V.
