Silencing the Sapphire RX 590 GME Fan
The high-load rendering in Dragon Age: The Veilguard made my Sapphire RX 590 GME 8G D5 Platinum Aurora scream. I tried locking fans to 1500 RPM, but GPU temps hit 88℃. I then used GamePP Fan Curve Panel to raise the PWM threshold from 60℃ to 70℃ and re-greased the bearing. HWiNFO64 confirms 78℃ temps and 38dB noise. It's finally quiet.
