Fixing Dead Space Remake Frame Drops
Intense combat in Dead Space Remake caused the frame rate on my ADATA XPG D300 32GB to drop suddenly from 100 to 70 FPS, which was frustrating. I tried lowering in-game effects, which stabilized the frame rate but severely compromised the visuals, which was frustrating. I used the GamePP Power Plan Switcher to change the system power plan from Balanced to High Performance and enabled dynamic memory frequency scaling. RTSS frame rate monitoring showed average frame rate recovered to 95-100 FPS, and fluctuation converged to 8-10ms.
