How to fix VRAM overflow on Gigabyte RTX 5060 in CoD 2026?

Absolute disaster. Trying to run a 2026 title on 8GB of VRAM feels like driving a tractor on a highway—I was getting a massive hitch every two minutes. VRAM usage was pinned at 7.8GB, forcing the system to lean heavily on virtual memory, which spiked my disk I/O to 100%. It was infuriating. I first tried killing all the high-end lighting and shadows, but the game looked like a pixelated mess, which was just insulting to my eyes. I eventually manually set my page file on the fastest NVMe partition, locking it at a fixed 32GB-32GB, and used a script to kill every useless background process. In Resource Monitor, the VRAM page faults dropped from 110/sec to about 18-25/sec, and the stuttering slowed down significantly. I had one slow boot after locking the page file size, but disabling the super-cache feature fixed it. GPU temps stay between 65-72℃, and VRAM stays around 62-68℃. I've backed up the config so I don't have to do this again.
