Solving VRAM Overflow
After enabling the highest remastered settings, vegetation suddenly disappeared and the game crashed to desktop, which was infuriating. I first tried adding more physical RAM, but the bottleneck was actually the swap speed between VRAM and RAM, wasting my time. Using the GamePP Memory Controller Load Monitor, I locked the system page file to 32GB on a high-speed NVMe partition. A 4-hour stress test confirmed zero crashes, with memory temperature stable at 58-63℃ per GamePP and VRAM at 7.8-8.1GB via GPU-Z. Core temps were 65-71℃ per GPU-Z, ending at 63℃
