Fixing Physics Lag in Battlefield V with Kioxia EXCERIA
Traversing dense clouds in Battlefield V caused a massive frame drop from 120 FPS to 48 FPS. The physics engine was struggling with multi-core scheduling, with E-Cores hitting 100% while P-Cores idled. I tried switching to the Windows Performance power plan, but it didn't solve the core delay issue. I needed a voltage tweak. I used the GamePP BIOS Load Line Voltage Wizard to set the Load Line to L3 and adjusted the VCCSA voltage from 1.20V to 1.25V. Cinebench R23 confirmed the multi-core score increased from 35800 to 37200 points.
