Why does the i9 13900K drop frames in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden?

During high-intensity exorcisms, facing large crowds caused my frame rate to plummet from 120 to 50 FPS without warning. I first tried enabling Extreme Performance mode in the BIOS, but the CPU hit 100℃ and triggered thermal throttling, which made me furious. I used the GamePP BIOS Load-line Voltage Adjustment Wizard to set the load-line to L3 mode and tuned Vcore to 1.30V per HWiNFO. Cinebench R23 showed zero errors over 3 hours, with AIDA64 reporting stable temps at 78-85℃ and GamePP logging fans at 1400-1600RPM.
