Stop WoW Thermal Throttling
I was walking through Orgrimmar when my frames suddenly plummeted from 80 to 35 as player density increased, creating a jarring stutter that totally broke my immersion. I tried lowering the CPU voltage offset in BIOS, but it only dropped temps by 3℃ and caused random restarts during raids, which was a nightmare. I finally used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to move the fan start threshold from 60℃ to 50℃ with a stepped acceleration plan. Now, core temperatures stay at 68-75℃ per AIDA64, frame times are 12-16ms per RTSS, and VRM temps are 55-62℃ per HWiNFO, with fans hitting 1400-1600RPM.
