Fixing Space Marine 2 SSD Latency
During the dropship landing in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, the animation lag was unbearable. AIDA64 showed 4K random read latency spiking to 85-120us as the SLC cache exhausted. I tried clearing temp files, but the I/O bottleneck persisted. I opened GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration, increasing the queue depth from 1024 to 2048 and enabling forced write cache refresh. RivaTuner confirmed frame generation time dropped from 18.2ms to 12.5ms. HWiNFO64 kept the SSD at a stable 48-55℃, saving my immersion.
