Why does memory scheduling fail in the open world

Referencing Report 5060-S1 under Win11 24H2, HWiNFO recorded VRAM usage swinging violently between 7.2GB - 7.8GB, triggering massive frame-time spikes. I spent hours obsessing over virtual memory sizes, which did absolutely nothing and left me feeling defeated. The breakthrough happened when I navigated to Task Manager -> Details, right-clicked the game process, and shifted the priority to 'High' while forcing browser processes to 'Low'. Post-adjustment, VRAM hovered稳 at 6.1GB - 6.5GB, and the frame variance dropped from 25% to 8%. While this stopped the hard freezes, I still feel a slight hitch during rapid camera turns; 8GB VRAM is a hard ceiling at ultra settings that no software tweak can fully erase.
