Solving SATA Reading Latency
I was exploring the colorful fantasy world, but I worried my old SATA interface would cause lags with next-gen textures. It was a nightmare; every map switch felt like a slideshow. I tried enabling write cache flushing in Windows, but loading times only dropped by 1 second, which didn't touch the core bottleneck. I then used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to raise the storage queue from default to 512 and optimized the I/O strategy. Random read speed hit 52MB/s per CrystalDiskMark, response times stayed 12-28ms via AIDA64, and temps were 36-44℃ per HWMonitor.
