Why does my Overwatch 2 loading bar freeze at 90% for seconds?

I was losing my mind during quick match transitions when the loading bar would just freeze at 90%, killing my competitive momentum. I first tried disabling all background indexing services in Windows, but the loading time only decreased by 0.4 seconds, which left me totally confused. Then I used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to increase the queue depth from 32 to 128 and set the write cache policy to forced flush. Random 4K read speeds jumped to 75-88 MB/s per CrystalDiskMark, response times hit 15-42ms via GamePP, and temps stayed at 46-54℃ per AIDA64.
