How do I fix texture loading lag in Tomb Raider?

I was sprinting through the jungle in Tomb Raider when the Seagate FireCuda 510 2TB started stuttering badly. The PCIe 3.0 bottleneck was causing visible texture pop-ins. I tried enabling AHCI mode in BIOS first, but it just blue-screened my system, which was a nightmare. I then used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Config to raise the queue depth from 512-768 to 1024 and enabled dynamic bandwidth allocation. After this, CrystalDiskMark showed 4K random read speeds jumping from 42-48MB/s to 55-60MB/s.
