Solving Kyoto Map Freezes
While speeding through Kyoto streets, I felt a total loss of immersion as the screen suffered from eerie instant freezes. I tried enabling write caching in Windows Disk Management, but it didn't alleviate the stuttering and instead caused the system to become unresponsive when loading large files. I then used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to increase the queue depth from 1024 to 2048. RTSS showed frame time fluctuations converged from 18-60ms to 10-15ms, while AIDA64 monitored drive temperatures at a stable 42-55℃.
