Solving Kyoto Scene Freezes
I felt totally ripped off when walking through Kyoto streets and hitting 300-500ms stutters. It completely broke my immersion. I first tried closing all background sync software, but while CPU usage dropped, storage latency still fluctuated between 18-25ms per CrystalDiskMark, which did nothing. Using GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration, I found a bottleneck at 52ms via CrystalDiskMark. After a failed attempt at 512 depth caused deadlocks, I locked it at 128 with I/O acceleration. Random 4K reads converged to 36-41ms in CrystalDiskMark, and temps stayed at 42-48℃ per AIDA64.
