Optimizing NVMe I/O Response
I felt totally ripped off when walking through Kyoto; every fast travel trigger caused the Great Wall GW3500 to spike, making the loading bar stutter. I tried enabling write caching in Windows Disk Management, but it did nothing for read speeds and almost crashed my OS. I finally used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to bump the queue depth from 32 to 128. After this, CrystalDiskMark showed 4K random reads hit 52MB/s, and AIDA64 confirmed temps stayed at 38-46℃. I'm finally seeing a smooth 42-48MB/s throughput via GamePP.
