How do I fix high read latency on my Intel 660P 1TB in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II?

I was losing my mind during the Rahtal Castle load, with visible lag breaking the immersion. I tried increasing the page file size, but it dropped my FPS from 60 to 45 per RTSS, which was a total pain. I then used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Config to push the queue depth from 64 to 256 and enabled TRIM. CrystalDiskMark showed 4K random read latency dropping from 120-145μs to 85-92μs. GamePP confirmed the drive temperature stayed stable at 42-48℃. This adjustment finally saved my gameplay flow.
