Stop Thermal Throttling Now
While exploring the dense jungles of the Forbidden West, I noticed CPU temperatures skyrocketing from 65℃ to 96℃ in a second, breaking my immersion with sudden stutters. I first tried setting the fan mode to full speed in the BIOS; while it dropped temps to 84℃, the pump resonance noise at night was unbearable. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to set a 72℃ aggressive trigger, ramping fans to 2800 RPM between 78-88℃. Cinebench R23 tests confirmed peak temperatures locked at 77-82℃ per AIDA64, and pump speed stabilized at 2800-2900 RPM per HWiNFO, while coolant stayed at 37-41℃ per HWiNFO.
