Why does my Helldivers 2 frame rate drop from 60 to 35 FPS during intense multiplayer battles?

I was mid-drop in Helldivers 2 when my frame rate plummeted from 60 to 35 FPS, making every dodge feel like a gamble. I initially tried lowering the CPU frequency to reduce power load, but this only made the stutter worse and didn't address the root cause. I then used the GamePP Hardware Sensor Page to monitor phase current, revealing VRM temps hitting 92°C. I adjusted the LLC Load Line Calibration in BIOS from 0.00V to +0.01V and optimized the fan curve. After these changes, frame rate stabilized at 58-62 FPS per RTSS, and VRM temps dropped to 62-68°C as monitored by AIDA64, giving me back the smooth gameplay I needed.
